8th Annual Congress
The 8th Annual Congress of Liquid Biopsy will bring the global liquid biopsy community together in Madrid for three days of scientific exchange focused on the latest research, emerging technologies and clinical applications shaping the field. The programme will feature expert-led sessions on new clinical applications, evolving methodologies, circulating tumour cells, tumour-derived vesicles, RNA, proteomics and tumour-specific research, alongside workshops and industry-supported sessions. Oral abstract sessions will give researchers an opportunity to present important new findings, while dedicated poster sessions and a poster tour will encourage direct discussion, feedback and collaboration between presenters and Congress participants.

ISLB was founded in Granada, Spain, establishing an international society focused on advancing liquid biopsy research, education and clinical translation.
Membership & Education Expansion
ISLB expanded its membership and educational programs, with annual congresses beginning and the society establishing itself as a global reference point for liquid biopsy.

The first ISLB Annual Congress was held in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Scientific Partnerships & Global Engagement
Critical Reviews in Oncology/Hematology partnership launched.
ISLB contributed to advancing international dialogue through major oncology and molecular diagnostics meetings, including ASCO, AACR and AMP.
Global Collaboration & Standardization
